Saturday, December 27, 2008 - Imam Siddiqui a well-known figure nationally and internationally recently took part in being a savior in the 26/11 incident, and happens to be a hero forgotten after the 26/11 scenario. The terror event that took place left many rattled.
This particular gentleman happened to be at the location and saved two non-Indians during the terror incident. Reportedly interviewed by the news channel NDTV then, this man was lauded and declared brave live on television. Now this brave young gentleman has been forgotten.
Methinks this gentleman out to receive a bravery award for the act. Wonder how many such forgotten heroes have gone unreported and are still to be reckoned!

Has Anybody Seen the Wind
Mumbai, India, December 14, 2006 - Has Anybody Seen the Wind?
No. This author for one has never seen the wind. But what this author has seen the wind make and do very few know. No this is not a tell-all-tale. A few thinks this author knows how to keep to self.
And then a dubious happening comes to mind. As the thought strikes, this author has several doubts whether he has actually seen the wind or not. What the wind does many know, but what the wind does and leaves a trail, the wind and this author only knows. Few have witnessed perhaps.
Has anybody seen the wind appear and disappear in a blink? This author thought he has seen, but as days wear on, memories a few remain. Yes but who wants to see the wind. When the benefits of having the wind around since the inception of the universe, everyone has seen, felt, and enjoyed. Yes, but who wants to see the wind when the benefits of having been around since the inception of the universe, everyone has seen, felt, and enjoyed. Yes, but has anybody seen the wind. Do let this author know if anybody happens to know where the wind’s going to make the next visit. A few words this author has to exchange with the wind. No but you do not have to see the wind, when the question ask, “who wants to see the wind?”
Refer the wind on this account. Exemplary courage of the wind. A column of air thumping the earth at an instant as a warning to inform what’s in the offing. This author thinks that’s truly a courageous wind.
This author has faced the adverse consequences of such an act and personally. The wind became a play thing that can be toyed around with, when the act took place, and every one ran behind the wind. Some gone with the wind, some keep going, and some went. And then that plaything suddenly made a presence felt. And, that’s not a good omen either.
Yet do let me know if you see the wind and expect another visit. Mind you, the wind is not a human being.
As i seat myself at the restaurant here where i eat my daily bread, another occurrence where another avatar act of the wind occurred. Not worth any mention though, because that became a consequence of some persons not a mention worth action. By the way, a young man, new to me prepared. Palatable, extremely.
To be continued...

All's Gold That Looks Like Gold
Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 14, 2008 - What do Kate Hudson and Naresh have in common? The New York (Thompson Financial) headlines screamed in April "India spot gold prices surge 3.28 pct on global cues; profit... India spot gold prices closed 3.28 percent higher on Thursday, tracking international bullion markets, but gains were limited..."
"It's Not All Bad News on the Investment Front Portfolio Managers..., reported RedOrbit Texas, a few days later. Had investors switched out of mainstream equities into gold or bond funds, they could have avoided the carnage. The gold price tracked up 11 percent over..."
Wall Street Journal reported 2 hours ago that "India Aims to Boost: The $200 billion export target is achievable as raw material prices like crude oil, gold and steel are rising, which will help in better price realizations..."
Elsewhere the Australian reported, "Gold rush strikes fear in wine region: THERE'S gold in the Adelaide Hills, lots of it, setting mining companies on a collision course with those who fear their serene surroundings will be spoiled..."
IvyLeagueSports.com New Jery reported 13 hours ago, "USA Takes Gold Over Canada in World Championship: The US Women's National Team captured the gold medal with a 4-3 win over Canada at the 2008 International Ice Hockey Federation World..."
South Asian Women's Forum, India opinioned "Kate Hudson looking regal at London premiere of 'Fool's Gold'5 hours ago: Kate Hudson at the UK premiere of Fool's Gold at the Vue cinema, Leicester Square in London." New Straits Times confirmed, "Get the gold and keep the girl," and so Fools Gold premiers in UK with the Defamer Australia reporting, "Kate Hudson's Dress Makes Londoners 'Seasick." So much for Kate Hudson, and Gold amidst all the halabaloo.
Amidst all this, entrepreneur Naresh has not much to complaint but a host of reasons to be jubilant. Unlike Charlie Chaplin, reasons for Naresh's jubilance are based on his much down to earth associations with a company involved in investments and very high returns on investments, the name of which this author does not wish to reveal. Ask Naresh for your lions share of his knowledge. Phone Naresh on 09967506754 or 91-22-65746281 / 91-22-65024496, or email stinger_rai@yahoo.com.
Happy pickings till then!

POPE JOHN PAUL II DIES

We require one more Gandhi. the real one.
Friday, April 04, 2008 We require one more Gandhi. the real one.
When Gandhi returned from SA he found more or less the same situation that we live in now. Corruption was rampart and moral values were very low. He diagnosed the moral crisis Indians faced at that time and gave the magic mantra which was tried and tested by him in his childhood and also in South Africa. That mantra was "Worship the Truth". Why he gave this mantra to us?
let us go slightly back in the history and find out. When Robert Clive won entire state of Bengal by attacking Calcutta, his casualty was only 26 British soldiers. Bengal was given to him because Siraj-ud-daula was treachered by his own man Mir Jaffer, who offered his entire Army to Clive just to become next Nawab of Bengal. Had every Hindu or Muslim Bengali come out of their home and fought then the story would have been different. Robert Clive himself has said this later on. He was surprised... The Thinking Canvas
Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 19, 2008 - Debashish Mukerjee cordially invites you to 'The Thinking Canvas', an exhibition of paintings from February 18 to February 24, 2008 at the Jehangir Art Gallery (No. 1) between eleven in the morning and seven in the evening.
The invitation describes this venture as an artistic endeavour to translate the thoughts and images of the mind onto his canvas through colour and form. The invitation further describes that the paintings of Debashish come across as an innocent, lyrical expression, almost child like in sincerity.
When asked about his vocational education, this Delhi based artist married to Nandita Mukerjee says, "Patna, a funny place description for a college, the Government College of Arts and Crafts that later got associated with the Patna university."
Whether liked or not, Debashish's paintings intentions lean towards abstraction with aesthetics widened to suit interiors of patrons. Allow this man associated with myriad creative fields, a rich background, and his thinking canvas to take you on a journey of discovery. Discover the simple!
